This last reading on Feb. 24th had a great turn out. Misfits was comfortably full of fans. The feature Readers were Ernie who read a piece on his legal work on helping the unhelpable. Sarah read of a man living with the ghost of his fiance Albert read of his fight to save cherry tree from the ax. Shoichi read from his poetry, both in English and Japanese. Tom read of lyrics that had not made it to songs. Joe read from his poetry and asking members of the audience for a word that the poem inspired.

Before each read I asked each for a tale of their stupid mistake.  Sarah took the cake on this with her story of her college days she was investigation the gender of  a mysterious arrival.

You had to be there to get the impact.

The ‘Three Line Cup’ prize for the Reading went to Joe this time, for his words and audience grab of input. Thank you readers and listeners for making it a great night.

Next Readings at Misfits will be held on March 23rd and on April 20th (due to schedule conflict at Misfits)

Look forward to your writes see you then.

Albert
