October 2016 Open Reading Review

Halloween Eve Open Reading.

It was a good turn out for our October Open Reading. Seeing old and new faces.
Adding our thought together. No two meetings are ever the same.

Ernest Schaal ( USA )

~ “Boo” ~
Getting apples ruined Halloween for me.

Shoichi Miyamura ( Japan )

~ “Voice Recorder” ~
Even in those weathering wrecks, we want something to be discovered.

~ “Journey of a Paper Bag” ~
It felt lonely since there was nothing inside itself.

~ “Island” ~ by Rin Ishigaki
It’s impossible to know this island, impossible too, to stay here.

Albert Sussler ( USA )

~ “Gold Teeth” ~
Smiling rarely, but when he did, it made me angry to see all that wasted precious metal, sparkle.

~ “Yojijukugo ( 4 words )” ~
Anticipating pain, reduces pain.

Masako Izumi ( Japan )

~ “Get Up Late in the Morning” ~
In my head my words are circulating.

Coming up:

November 20th: Sunday
Open Reading: from 3:00 ~ 5:00P.M.
